We had regulars Andy and son Ben on the North lake for the last two weeks with their wifes Heather and Lynn.
With continued windy, rainy weather throughout their stay and still saturated grounds the guys didn’t let it spoil their holiday and just got on with the fishing.
The first week only 14 fish were landed but with some nice fish to 55.08lb mirror for Andy.
The second week saw some more of the fantastic stamp of fish the North lake has, landed with 18 fish for Andy and Ben including Mirrors of 57.14lb m, 57.08lb m, 51.08lb m and a good back up of 40’s , 30’s and a few 20’s. The guys finished on 32 fish for their holiday. One highlight was Andy’s wife Heather playing and catching her first ever carp at 31lb on her own. So we’ll done guys in some very harsh wet windy conditions.
