3 Acres • 0.5 to 2.5m Depth • Silty, Soft Hard Clay Areas
Simon’s Lake is 3 acres in size with two Large doubles and 1 single swim that have all been built with bulky timbers and have all been filled with hardcore for good drainage and topped with soft gravel for your bivvy to sit on and can have up to 4 anglers per week but still nice for a smaller exclusive party booking.
Simon’s lake has been coming on very strong the last couple of years with the weight gains on it’s fish and is now our very popular second specimen lake. This is by no means a ‘runs’ water and can be tricky at times but Dene is on hand at all times with tips and advice.
The lake is mainly a hard clay bottomed lake with lumps and bumps, silt patches and gravel patches and bars and over hanging trees and with around 90 fast weight gaining carp upto 72.06lb. Simon’s has a fantastic stock of fish, with a few 30’s and a very high number of 40’s and a good head of 50’s & 60’s coming through every season this certainly is up and coming as a big fish water . Nice beds of pellet and particle with a mix of chopped, whole boilies works well either spombing or by using a baitboat.

‘Set in remote, rural France, it is the perfect carp fishing getaway where you can choose catch plenty of fish on Simon’s Lakes.’
Simon’s Lake is a clay bottomed lake with over 90 weight gaining carp up to and above 72lb+ and is 3 acres in size.
We have two large double and 1 single purpose built swims along 2 banks all built from bulky oak timbers and filled with layers of hardcore for great drainage and topped with a soft gravel to protect your bivvies and can comfortably accommodate 4 anglers.
In the past we have sold this lake as our action water, but from the 2012 season Dene put in place new feeding programmes alongside many other changes including nettings and small fish removal to dramatically increase the fish weights in order to achieve our second specimen lake status just behind the North Lake which we hope to reach over the next few years. In winter of 2017/2018 we have added another 40 fish ranging from 30lb to 40lb to Simon’s already awesome stock, these have now grown to some unbelievable weights, with the lake record now being 72.06lb.
Originally stocked as an action water Simon’s Lake is now well on its way to being Eden’s Lakes second specimen lake. A strict feeding programme, nettings and the removal of small fish has resulted in Simon’s Lake producing a constant stream of fish in the high 30’s and good 40’s-55lbs +.It is not uncommon to have multiple runs and rod bending action still on Simon’s so be prepared.
What a start to our season so Far for all 3 lakes as the fish continue to grace our customers
