6TH JULY TO THE 20TH JULY

WOW ITS BEEN A REAL COUPLE OF HOT WEEKS………

The last couple of weeks have been scorching here at edens with temps reaching the mid to high 30 deg every day with the night temps in the 20’s with not a lot of breeze to back it up either,so pretty static at times,although we have had plenty of storms threatning many of them have missed us,booooooo because as you can imagine we have all been praying for them here ,but we did have one the other night for a good few hrs but to be honest it didnt really freshen it up much or drop in teperature,fishing has slowed a bit due to the high increase but i do feel this has been to the sudden change……last year it was a gradual change up and from spring to summer like normal with long spells of hot warm sunny weather where as this year it has come from cold/wet weather straight to HERES SUMMER the guys on the north lake on the 6th of july all struggled as the lake switched off,but i take my hat off to them as they worked so hard for the fish with different tactics and stalking and even sitting up all night in the bushes on the backside of the lake but it didnt happen for the lads so gutted for them

Also there are several fish that have been caught still carrying eggs and milt so they havent all finished spawning as yet on the 3 lakes,but saying that we have still caught fish from the lakes but has been difficult with last week i had a cxld party for our north lake so me and conor managed to get out and do some fishing and it was very very hard going but we did catch a few between us and the lads on jolly pads caught a faire few also despite the heat,well i have stalled doing the 18ft swimming/dipping pool for long enough so that needs doing and will keep the kids happy and of course anyone that wants to use it whilst here ,so heres a few details from the last couple of weeks and a few pics Dene -x-
