What a week, we have had some pretty bad weather this week with rain, rain and more rain, a little sun and yep more rain lol,and to top it off some serious gale force winds that have brought a few smaller trees down and branches aswell as turning the odd bivvy over,so have had to do a bit of clear up duty this week with the chainsaw.
The fishing has been extremely difficult this week,but Simon’s lake our second specimen lake on the complex has fished really well this week and was very kind to one guy Colin who had 16x fish to 44.01lb with a great stamp of fish to back it up with several 40s ….well angled that man,and his friend Fred had fish to 43.00lb.Jolly pads was difficult this week also for the lads with 13 fish banked..to 34.08lb with just as many Lost with hook pulls !!!!.
Myself and friend Bob managed to have a 4 day session on the north lake due to our client having to leave at the weekend due to a family issue at home,so we waited for a quick break in the weather on Tuesday to set up but to no avail for us this time whilst fishing/working
