Good start on Jolly pads with two fish to 40.00lb and new p/best,North lake started with a early fish too quiet elsewhere for a day or so with just a hookpulls on north, damn !,big weather front forming with chance of storms later….Long way to go yet as we have a whole week ahead,….The storms that came were short but some well needed rain but it has turned really cold now,Two of the guys that started on north lake decided to move down to Simon’s lake ??? a bit surprised after they had a couple of runs and lost fish but also banked a 36+lb mirror which was a p/best for Matt and as said moved so quick and early after the weekend but hey ho it is there choice ,it didn’t go to plan for Matt and Dave with a couple more lost fish and Matt banking a 38.00lb mirror again a p/best for him,
As the days warmed but chilly winds and cold nights the fishing only ticked by this week on the other two lakes Jolly pads hard going with 1 angler and the north Lake with James and Ruben catching fish and of course p/bests too but again a few loses due to hook pulls !!!,All the guys worked hard for there fish this week and kept baiting there spots which came good in the end and banked some great fish for them..Anyway Autumn is here now as the days are cooler as is the winds and the nights and the end of the season is fast approaching so hoping that the last few weeks finish strong for the anglers.
