And the start of another week here at edenslakes,it started looking fantastic after a tough week for us with the film crew as on saturday morning as we were packing up it started pouring down with rain,something we had wished for all the previous week,so now the lakes were looking good and refreshed for the new arrivals,fish started to show all over the north lake which was heart aching in a way as we struggled the week b4 due to the temps but great for me to watch knowing we have anglers fishing shortly,4 on the north lake which were all part of the casting for cancer crew that we/edenslakes donated a holiday to for one of there events to help raise money for male cancer,some great lads and i actually knew 3 out of 4 guys ,some i have not seen for 7 years and 1 of them is our regular customer bryann,we also had a last minute cxl booking on jolly pads which just left a 2 for simons lakes,
Anyway what a start the guys especially tony and first timer Jim on simons lake was straight into fish as expected and so was Bryann on the north lake with a stunning 35.08lb common then followed by a new p/best mirror of 48.04lb on the first night what a start with the cloud and the rain,but the weather soon cleared and we was back to high temps and clear skys again knocking the fishing again,but the north lake guys were on a social too but still trickled a few fish and bryann also beat his personal best again with a 49.00lb mirror and simons also had some great fish for boys with personal bests for Jim on his fishing debut big well done buddy,again thankyou all for such a great week and for the gifts for all the family and was great meeting up with you all again and meeting new friends,hope to see you all again at edenslakes in the future,Dene,Karen and the boys -x-
