27th August to 3rd September

What a awesome week we have just had with great friends and regular customers to Eden’s,we had Andy aka the C,Tony aka JOE 90 and Stephen aka TEA BIATCH On the North lake trying there luck for the first time and long time friend Jonny the sun god and his partner Helen on Jolly pads.Unfortunately we will not have a catch report for Simon’s lake this week due to our arrivals not showing up and no contact with us…OH WELL !

The weekend started very overcast, damp and then the thunder came rolling in with some well needed rain and storms over the weekend, the lakes started to come alive after the previous week with temps reaching 40+ deg with fish showing, fizzing and rolling all over the lakes. After some brief info passed onto the guys and answering all questions and a plan of action and spots pointed out and how to attack the north lake regarding baiting approaches the guys listened and it wasn’t too long b4 Andy had his first fish the following morning and smashing his p/best wit a 52.03lb mirror.Tony lost one due to a hook pull. With fish still showing over the areas the guys stuck to the plan and kept baiting with particle and pellet with minimum boilies and wasn’t to long b4 the next couple of  fish were in the net which were 45lb+ and 44.08lb. But yet again another fish lost but this time due to more lost tackle that a fish was towing around the lake that I was not made aware of,but at lest the tackle was recovered from the fish but for Andy it was a lost fish…not happy !.Jonny and Helen were also doing well on Jolly pads catching a few carp to 32.00lb and of course our resident sturgeon Merve.shame there camera was playing up and was all misty so the picture are not very good quality, but as they say they are here on holiday and relaxing, chilling,a few drinks and the sun,FAIR PLAY .As from Monday the heat had returned with mid 30 degrees everyday for the rest of the week so the suntan squad were out in force lol

The fishing throughout the week was steady with a few lost too which kept the scores down a bit but we also had a awesome double take for Andy and Tony one morning which was great to get a brace shot of the two of them with a 44.08lb and a 33.08lb,Stephen took part of the week to get on the fish and lost a couple of chances b4 he manged to bank his first p/best of 41.06lb and then did it again on his last night with a 49.15lb mirror. The guys worked really hard for the fish this week and stuck to the plan and spots in the swims and got rewarded, shame there were the losses as the tally would of been a bit higher. Great socials and banter all week and plenty of respect all round and look forward for next time , so well done again to you all a fantastic week all round and miss the “spoils of war”…walkers cheese and onion crisps and cherry bakewell tarts ,but Stephen does make a mean cuppa hence his knickname lol.but shhhhh as Karen does not know pmsl you ruined my diet xx,Helen and Jonny see you soon was great company  and enjoyed the social at the house and was great for Karen and Josh to ,till next time when you take that big step to the North Lake.
